We are seeking a ServiceNow Managed Service Consultant to be responsible for the successful delivery of Managed Service engagements, in a client-consulting environment.

This position is a high-profile growth opportunity that demands a highly motivated individual with strong technical, communications and organisational skills, who is eager to succeed and become part of a rapidly growing company.

You will join an existing team based in London and working within the European market.

Responsibilities:

  • Configures and customises the ServiceNow system, including creating workflows, custom UI, groups, roles

  • Utilises MID server, web services (SOAP and REST), email and other relevant technology to integrate with externally hosted customer applications with ServiceNow

  • Provides technical leadership to all areas of business

  • Researches capabilities of the ServiceNow platform, provide recommendations and implement solutions to meet business requirements

  • Manages production and non-Production (Dev, UAT) instances

  • Monitors health, usage and overall compliance of the application

  • Manage the end to end process of an upgrade to ServiceNow instances

  • Collaborates with business users, product owners and ServiceNow teams to establish specifications and agree on timeframe for completion of assigned requests

  • Building and maintain relationships with key customer decision makers.

  • Drive the continuous improvements of our methodology and service offerings based on client experiences.

 

Candidate Requirements

  • Degree (or equivalent), at a minimum of 2:1, preferably in Information Technology (or a similar technical subject).

  • Proven experience as a key technical resource leading the development of ITSM solutions in client environments.

  • Experience with Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, etc) and of working in a SaaS environment.

  • Knowledge of technical components such as LDAP, VPN, SSL and other such technologies.

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), strong presentation and facilitation skills (proficiency in Visio, Word and PowerPoint) and strong organisational skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) while providing thought leadership to sponsors/stakeholders in solving. governance, program/project management, business process and/or technical problems

  • Strong interpersonal skills, customer-centric attitude, ability to deal with cultural diversity effectively at all levels of an organisation.

  • Strong ability to work both in a team and independently.

  • Ability to be based at our headquarters in London, with flexibility to travel within the UK.
